Definitely bigger than I expected. It is a little difficult to get my cat inside at first, but when she gets used to it, she loves it and the design is really different from the traditional bubble backpack, which exposes my cat to the unfamiliar situations, This is something I would recommend 100%.

We love this car seat and use it every time we go out/travel. It gives my dog plenty of room and I love how it has an attachment to secure him in place. We also love how the covers can be removed for washing!
